Even with a Soft Touch pick it was always impossible to get anything back from a broken glass pane or block – until the Glass Shards mod came along. The mod can shatter the glass and drop Glass Shard.

Glass shards can be gathered from broken glass blocks or glass panes.  One you have enough items, you can forge them in the crafting tools or smelt it on the furnace.  You can even have your glass shards in different colors by picking the correct hue inside the game.

How to install Glass shards Mod:

• Download and install https://24hminecraft.com/minecraft-forge-api-minecraft/
• Download the Glass shards Mod 1.11.2.
• Click on the Start Menu in Windows.
• Type run into the search box, and select the Run program at the top of the results.
• Type %appdata% into the Run program, and press Enter.
• Go to .minecraft/mods folder.
• Drag and drop the downloaded jar (zip) file into that.
• Enjoy !
