xali’s Bushy Leaves Resource Pack (Version 1.20.1, 1.19.4)

The xali’s Bushy Leaves Resource Pack (Versions 1.20.1, 1.19.4) is designed to enhance leaf blocks by adding extra layers, resulting in a more voluminous and organic appearance within the Minecraft world. This pack doesn’t introduce new leaf colors; instead, it enhances the foliage’s bushiness using the game’s original textures. If you’re looking to enhance the in-game leaves without a significant impact on performance, this pack comes highly recommended.

Due to performance concerns experienced by certain users of my pack, I have ultimately chosen to create a separation between the two aspects. This separation allows the pack to be compatible with any other texture packs without encountering problems. However, if you desire the inclusion of bushy leaves in any of my packs, this particular pack will become a necessary requirement.

What is the Concept of Texture Packs?

Texture Packs involve modifying the in-game visuals encompassing the GUI, mobs, items, and even blocks! While some packs transform all of these elements, others target just one or a couple. You’ll encounter packs that elevate the native 16×16 resolution to “HD” textures of higher resolution, whereas others remain faithful to the original resolution. Certain packs can transpose your gaming world into a realm reminiscent of a video game, while others may immerse you in a pastel-toned environment. With an abundant variety of texture packs available, you’re certain to discover one that resonates with your preferences!

It’s important to note that specific Texture Packs cater to the latest Minecraft snapshots, while others are tailored for older versions. Therefore, it’s essential to select a pack that aligns with the version you’re utilizing. Navigate to the Texture Pack section on Planet Minecraft, where you’ll find convenient sorting options by Category, Resolution, Game Version, and more! By choosing the appropriate game version, you can explore an extensive array of thousands of distinctive packs.

Do Texture Packs and Minecraft Resource Packs Refer to the Same Thing?

Absolutely! The terms “Minecraft Texture Packs” and “Minecraft Resource Packs” are interchangeable. In the Java Edition 1.6, texture packs were succeeded by resource packs. These packs not only modify the game’s textures but also encompass elements such as sounds, music, language files, fonts, splash texts, and more.

In this guide, we’ll be utilizing Ignaf’s Quadral Texture Pack. We appreciate the vividness it adds to the game, and its resolution maintains the authentic Vanilla feel, which is something we hold in high regard.

1. Click “↓ Download Texture Pack”.

2. A window will pop up. Make sure you have “Save File” selected, and then click “OK”.

3. Open up Minecraft and click on “Options…”

4. Click “Resource Packs….”

5.Then, click on “Open Resource Pack Folder”

6. The resourcepacks subfolder of .minecraft will pop up. In a separate window, open up your Downloads folder (where you saved your pack). Drag and drop the file from your Downloads folder to your resourcepacks folder.

7. Close both windows. You won’t see your pack available yet; click “Done”.

8. Click “Resource Packs…” for a second time.

9. You should see your texture pack over in the left hand column. Hover, and click on the triangle/arrow pointing to the right.

If your pack does not show up, try extracting the folder and adding that folder to resourcepacks.

To unzip: Right click on the zipped file and select “Extract all”. A window will pop up showing you your extracted file. Drag and drop that file onto your desktop. THIS is the folder you will put into your resourcepacks folder. Refer to step 6.
