Jacobs made his NFL Week 1 debut against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football. Jacobs dashed 23 times from 85 yards and got two touches and a pass from 28 yards in the 24-16 win. In the next game, he played against the Kansas City Chiefs, where he dashed 12 times in 99 yards, and unfortunately, the Raiders lost 28-10.

After his eighth straight game of the season, Jacobs clinched the Raiders rookie record for dash yards in a season with 740, surpassing former American football player Marcus Allen’s old record of 697.
