HTC One Goes Straight For Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update

If you happen to own a HTC One in the US, I am quite sure that you would be interested to hear that the HTC One would be skipping the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update in favor of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, for HTC One models that currently operate on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. There were tweets from HTC’s president, Jason Mackenzie, who claimed that users will be skipping Android 4.2.2 since it was considered to be a ‘minor update’, which was why HTC decided to take the plunge and send the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean train headed for HTC One on US carriers.

It must be said that the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update was introduced to international modelsmore than one month back, but folks over at the US have yet to pick up this particular update, although we have heard of rumors a few weeks back that Verizon’s HTC One had already picked up the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update.Do take into consideration however, that the HTC One Developer Edition will remain stuck on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but no matter about that, it will still make the jump to Android 4.3 since Android 4.2.2 has been touted to offer “limited customer benefit”, with the latter being “so close” already.
