Samsung Galaxy S4 lock screen comes to Google Play

Samsung Galaxy S4 lock screen comes to Google Play. With the defragmentation of Android happening more and more, it comes as no surprise that manufacturers are jumping on the bandwagon as well. From Google Keyboard being able to be downloaded as a stand alone app to Focal, the CyanogenMod camera, core functions of Android are becoming stand-alone apps. As such, the a copy of the Samsung Galaxy S4 lock screen has become available for all models, Samsung and non-Samsung alike.

Want the S4 lock screen but don’t have a Samsung device? No worries!
The app itself replaces your default lock screen and imitates the lock screen found on the Galaxy S4. You have the ripple and light effects when you put your finger on the screen. As well, app shortcuts, custom fonts, and personal information is also customizable. Best of all? You don’t have to root your device in order to install it.

I tested this out on my new Nexus 7 and it works like a charm. While I’m a big fan of the default lock screen, this one performs quite well and is quite fluid in its operation.

Hit up the Google Play Store to grab the Galaxy S4 lock screen for your own use. It’s free and supported with ads.
