Minecraft is now planned for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita, but none of those versions are available yet.
The PC version is the one most players are probably familiar with, as it was the one that started it all. However, when the Xbox 360 version was released, it included some new features specific to the console, which many players might like. It supports split-screen multiplayer for up to four players and online multiplayer for up to eight players. It also has new tutorials and an enhanced crafting system. Although the early release lacked many of the features of the PC version, it was updated over time to bring the two closer and closer. The PS3 version, which released later, is all but identical to the Xbox 360 version.
The mobile versions are quite limited. In the beginning, they focused only on the basic building elements of Minecraft, and sacrificed many of its features in the process. Updates have pulled them a little closer to the PC version in the time since then, but most players are likely to prefer a fuller, more complete experience than what they have to offer. Still, there’s something to be said for a little Minecraft game you can carry in your pocket.Readmore Minecraft Pocket Edition Mods
Few details are about the upcoming PS4 and PS Vita versions, but we do know a little bit about Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. It will be very much like the Xbox 360 game, but its worlds will be larger in size and scope, its multiplayer features will be improved due to the higher power of the Xbox One, and it should generally look and play better. This should be a console version that brings Minecraft even closer to the PC version, possibly even with unique features to draw players in.
When Minecraft: Xbox One Edition does release, you should also be able to use cheats, codes, tricks and glitches to help make things a little easier than they would be otherwise, as well be able to find general strategies and guides to give you the edge you need.
Minecraft is an incredibly popular game on every platform it has been released for, and its popularity will no doubt rise even further with its arrival on the Xbox One and PS4.
