Deutsche Telekom Confirms Android 4.3 Jelly Bean For Galaxy S3. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been speculated to receive the Android 4.2.2 update sometime inQ3 this year, but we do think that it could just give that update a miss, especially when German carrier Deutsche Telekom has confirmed on its official forum that the Galaxy S3 which they are carrying will be on the receiving end of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.
It is rather interesting to note that there are whispers going around which has been gaining strength, touting that Samsung might give the Android 4.2.2 update a miss for the Galaxy S3, and settle straight for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean instead. While Deutsche Telekom mentioned that they will offer the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3, one can read between the lines and make a guess that the same might just apply to the other variants on different carriers, too.
Unfortunately, there is no confirmed release date for the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update just yet, but it could hit the streets running sometime later this year after the current Galaxy S4 flagship picks up the upgrade.
