6 Smartphone Apps for Smart Moms

Smart moms make sure they always have their smartphone loaded up with helpful apps and blog posts to get through the day. The problem is that there are so many mobile applications out there these days it can be difficult to find the ones that are actually useful for mothers. Fear no more. We’ve put together a list of six mobile apps that smart moms are going to want to have on their smartphones this year.

Six Super Mom-Friendly Smartphone Apps

Here’s a look at six specific apps that will help mothers with a variety of tasks and problems that may arise on a daily basis.

Target for iPad

While this smartphone app is geared toward Target stores only, many moms find it very useful. Additionally, it offers personalized deals and coupons for mothers when they’re shopping at the store.

Hashtag Mom

This is a great mobile app for moms who worry a lot about their children when they’re out and about on their own. All a teen needs to do is the tweet with the hashtag #mom and their mother will get an alert on their smartphone about where they are and what they’re up to that night. Very cool!

Doodle Kids

For most mothers, a lot of time is spent trying to keep their children occupied. This simple app is ideal for smartphones (and tablets) because it allows a child to be creative and not bother their mother so much. The only problem is that mothers may have a hard time getting their mobile device back from the children!

Baby Connect

This is a wonderful app for new mothers who want to make sure they’re doing everything they can for their newborn or toddler. Even with a lot of options, it’s really easy to understand and use on a daily basis.

Kraft iFood Assistant

Planning family meals and shopping excursions is a big part of the day for a lot of mothers, and the Kraft iFood Assistant is really helpful with creating shopping lists and planning meals for the week especially if they are excited to burn abdominal fat after giving birth.

Mint

For moms who want to spend less time budgeting and more time with their children, this is a great app because it’s super simple to set up and start using. While it’s not specifically targeted toward moms, it should be on every mother’s phone.

As any smart mom knows, technology alone is not going to solve problems most of the time. Having said that, mothers who utilize technology are going to find that their job is just a little bit easier – as long as they choose the right mobile apps.
